La coalición para cerrar la laguna jurídica de minimis La Coalición se formó para amplificar la urgente necesidad de reformar una laguna jurídica en la ley federal conocida como Sección 321, que permite que paquetes valorados en menos de $800 ingresen a los EE. UU. sin pagar impuestos, tarifas o inspección. Como resultado, esto paraliza a los fabricantes y trabajadores nacionales, socava a los minoristas, ejerce presión sobre los recursos de aplicación de la ley y facilita el libre flujo de productos y drogas ilegales y peligrosos, en particular el fentanilo, la principal causa de muerte entre personas de 18 a 49 años.
