    La Coalition pour combler l’échappatoire du De Minimis La Coalition a été formée pour amplifier le besoin urgent de réformer une faille dans la loi fédérale connue sous le nom de Section 321, qui permet aux colis d'une valeur inférieure à 800 $ d'entrer aux États-Unis sans payer de taxes, de frais ou d'inspection. En conséquence, cela paralyse les fabricants et les travailleurs nationaux, mine les détaillants, met à rude épreuve les ressources des forces de l’ordre et facilite la libre circulation des produits illégaux et dangereux et des drogues illicites, en particulier le fentanyl, principale cause de décès chez les personnes âgées de 18 à 49 ans. La Coalition appelle le Congrès et l’administration à combler immédiatement cette dangereuse faille. Parmi ses principaux objectifs, la Coalition se consacre à accroître la sensibilisation et l'éducation sur les impacts néfastes du de minimis, une faille exploitée par la Chine et d'autres entités étrangères pour faciliter un afflux de fentanyl et d'autres drogues illicites, des produits fabriqués avec du travail esclave, et produits de consommation contrefaits et toxiques sur le marché américain.

    Members of the Coalition to Close the De Minimis Loophole, representing a broad range of American voices and organizations committed to closing a loophole in U.S. trade law that is causing widespread harm, issued a statement today regarding a provision in the Senate budget reconciliation bill that would end de minimis for all commercial shipments, effective July 1, 2027.
